CT Group announces the departure of Group CEO Jon de Jager
CT Group today announces the departure of its Group CEO, Jon de Jager FCA.
Jon has been a prominent and valued member of the CT Group for nine years, including the last two as Group CEO – the first non-founder CEO in the Group’s 23-year history.
Founder and Executive Chairman, Sir Lynton Crosby AO, said: “It is with sadness that, after nine years of dedicated service, including the last two as Group CEO, Jon de Jager has stepped down.
“Jon was instrumental in helping CT’s founders restructure the Group, with the complete integration of CT’s specialist services, to enable us to deliver greater results for clients.
“In the last two years, Jon has cemented this restructure to ensure CT is truly cross-practice and cross-geography, and best placed to help clients succeed in increasingly complex and volatile operational environments globally.
“He leaves a CT Group stronger and fitter, positioned to pursue growth in new markets and capitalise on new offerings, while ensuring established markets continue their growth trajectory.
“The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Jon for his dedicated leadership and drive, and wish him and his family the very best for the future.”
Having successfully cemented “One CT”, Jon believes now is the time for new leadership to take the Group forward through its next chapter of growth. He will take some time out with his family to consider his next move.
Jon de Jager said: “It has been an incredible privilege to work alongside truly world-class operators and an honour to be the first non-founder CEO of CT Group. CT will remain close to my heart, and I look forward to seeing it grow and prosper under the new structure and leadership.”
The CT Group Board will consider the company’s leadership over the coming weeks. In the meantime, Founder and Executive Chairman, Sir Lynton, will step in on day-to-day business decision-making, working closely alongside the company’s Managing Directors and Executive Committee to ensure continuity and continued service excellence for clients.
