James Baxendale OBE

James is a former British foreign services officer, where he served for 19 years in some of the most high-risk countries including Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt. He also has extensive experience in multilateral institutions, having served in Geneva and Brussels. James then joined HSBC where he was a managing director in Operational Risk and their Middle East Adviser, based in Dubai, Paris, and London. He was responsible for fraud, investigations, cyber, business continuity, and crisis management for Global Banking and Markets.

James was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2007. He speaks French.
