Eugene Curley CMG OBE

Eugene was previously CEO of a leading global business intelligence and risk advisory consultancy and served for over 25 years in the UK’s Diplomatic Service.

He has led operations in over 70 countries, was inter alia Head of Counter Terrorism and Head of the Foreign Service’s effort on crime, fraud and money laundering. Since 2015 has been a non-executive director for Swiss Re on their portfolio companies in Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire.

Prior to joining the Diplomatic Service, Eugene worked at the Bank of England. He is an alumnus of Insead Business School and a Trustee of the Pimpernel Trust.

He is a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George and an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
