David Gillian

David Gillian has nearly a decade of consulting services experience and over 30 years’ service in the Australian Army. David has deep expertise in leadership, intelligence, defence, national security, strategy, operations and organisational performance in both the military and private sector.

Before joining CT Group David was a Partner in McChrystal Group LLC. David held a variety of senior roles helping grow the company from a start-up to an established international advisory firm working across diverse industries. This period included four years leading the company’s London-based European Office.

Prior to McChrystal Group, David was a senior officer in the Australian Army, retiring at the rank of Brigadier and as the Army’s most senior intelligence officer. David also serves as a Professor of Practice in Cyber Leadership and Intelligence at Dakota State University.
