Megan Williams

Senior Manager

Megan Williams is a Washington, DC-based energy, sustainability, and international relations expert with over twenty years of experience working across governments, NGOs, academia, and the private sector in countries all over the world. Megan is a big believer in the power of working across differences, a perspective that has aided her as she works across borders and sectors in a sometimes-fraught policy landscape.

Megan started her career in the US Congress in the office of former Rep. Elijah Cummings and then moved on to the Committee on Veterans Affairs working with various Congressional Members from both sides of the aisle. She has also worked with the Department of Defense, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, the European Union, and the United Nations, in addition to private sector companies and initiatives worldwide. An experienced public speaker and professor, Megan has negotiated legislation, drafted trade agreements, and developed public-private partnerships on issues including energy, sustainability, commerce, and human rights in Latin America, Scandinavia, Western Europe, the Baltics, North Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Megan holds a BA in Sociology and International Relations, an MA in International Relations, numerous certifications, and is currently working on her PhD.
