Senior Consultant – Digital Producer / Content Creator, Campaigns

Campaigns practice

CT Group’s Campaigns practice combines regulatory affairs, media management, government relations, public policy, advertising, digital and social media, and campaigns management into a coordinated effort to solve some of the most complex and pressing problems for our clients.

We use our methodology, the CT Way, to shape and influence behaviour in the desired direction by targeting the motivations of key actors or audiences utilising identified levers and messages to achieve our desired outcome. Our campaigns are evidence-based and results-focused, built on our decades of experience in political and corporate campaigns.

 

Position summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Sydney office working within our Campaigns team, with a specific focus on digital content production and creative strategy.

Senior Consultants in this role are responsible for leading the end-to-end production of digital and content-driven campaign activity across a portfolio of projects, working closely with project leads and clients to deliver compelling, brand-aligned content across multiple formats and channels.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Leading the digital content workstream across a variety of political and corporate campaign projects
  • Developing and executing content strategies across paid, owned and earned channels, including social media, video, podcast and written formats
  • Managing end-to-end production workflows – from creative briefing through to delivery – ensuring quality, consistency and on-time execution
  • Creating and editing campaign content across multiple formats including video, graphics, copy and digital assets
  • Building audience-first content frameworks informed by research insights and audience data
  • Producing client-ready reports, presentations and strategic content recommendations for review by project leads
  • Supporting proposals, client pitches and new business development with content production expertise and creative thinking
  • Monitoring content performance, including on paid advertising, interpreting analytics and translating data into actionable creative insights
  • Identifying opportunities, risks, and emerging trends across digital content activity and escalating to relevant project leads as appropriate
  • Contributing to the development and application of the CT Way Methodology across digital content projects
  • Managing relationships with creative suppliers, freelancers and platforms, including feasibility assessments and vendor coordination
  • Ensuring timely and professional communication with clients, managing expectations in line with project scope

 

Skills

The successful candidate will be a digitally fluent content professional with a strong production background and the ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A high level of attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to produce accurately written reports, well-designed presentations and compelling digital content. The ideal candidate should have a curious mindset, be active in keeping up to date with current affairs and digital trends, and possess the following:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in digital content production, creative campaign roles or a similar strategic communications environment
  • Demonstrated experience producing multi-format content including video, social media, written and visual assets
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, brand storytelling and narrative development across digital channels
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), digital asset management and social media scheduling tools
  • Working knowledge of SEO, content performance optimisation and audience analytics
  • Experience with AI-driven content tools and an understanding of their application in a campaign context
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to work
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead content workstreams independently
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong organisation and methodical working practices
  • Adaptability and ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is a prerequisite
  • Knowledge and/or experience with paid digital advertising and performance marketing is desirable
