Charlie joined CT group in July 2026 after nearly seven years of working in frontline politics. He started out working for the European Conservatives and Reformists, primarily providing research and policy advice to UK Conservative MEPs regarding upcoming votes in the European Parliament. He worked in Brussels for the final six months of the UK’s membership of the EU. Following the UK’s departure, he moved to Edinburgh to work for the Scottish Conservative MSP Group. He worked on four national campaigns during my time there, plus one successful by-election campaign. In his final role with the Scottish Conservatives, Charlie authored the party’s Holyrood Manifesto for the May 2026 election.
