CT Group appoints Julian Warczinski as Director

CT Group today announces the appointment of Julian Warczinski as Director, based in London.
Julian joins CT Group with more than 15 years’ experience advising senior decision-makers on geopolitics, regulation and investment. He specialises in helping clients manage political, regulatory and reputational risks around cross-border M&A, market entry, and strategic partnerships — translating complex regulatory and political environments into clear, actionable intelligence for those making high-stakes decisions.
For clients operating across Europe and the Middle East, Julian’s appointment represents direct access to rare and hard-won expertise. His combination of frontline government experience and deep private sector advisory work means he understands how political decisions are made, how regulatory frameworks shift, and what that means in practice for transactions, market entry, and strategic partnerships.
Julian most recently advised corporate, private equity and sovereign wealth clients across Europe, the Middle East and North America on M&A, regulatory risk, integrity due diligence and sensitive disputes. Before entering the private sector, he served as a foreign and defence policy adviser to Friedrich Merz, Germany’s current Chancellor, and previously held senior roles at the heart of Germany’s foreign policy and security establishment.
Julian began his career as Head of Business Development for the Middle East at a major global automotive company. He holds an MPhil in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin.
