The Apertus Alliance formalises CT Group’s relationships with former intelligence chiefs in France and Germany, offering clients industry leading strategic counsel globally.
London, 13 March 2023: CT Group is delighted to announce the creation of the Apertus Alliance,
an elite network of senior intelligence professionals and business advisors whose multi-jurisdictional
expertise offers unique and actionable insights to clients facing strategic challenges.
The Apertus Alliance offers authoritative senior counsel globally. This advice is based on a truly
international, coordinated, and methodological approach to identifying, developing, and implementing
solutions to complex problems.
CT Group, which has a strategic advisory and corporate intelligence presence in the UK, US, Dubai,
Singapore, India, and Australia, is founding the Apertus Alliance alongside industry-leading French and
German intelligence counterparts. Founding members are Patrick Calvar, the former head of the
Direction Générale de la Securité Intérieure (DGSI), the French security service; and Gerhard
Schindler, the former president of the German foreign intelligence service, the
Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND). The Apertus Alliance will be chaired by Eugene Curley CMG OBE,
founder of CT Group’s Intelligence Practice and former senior UK foreign service and Bank of England
official.
