Australians are more concerned about the rising influence of China than threats to national security and terrorism arising from the Afghanistan withdrawal, C/T Group research shows.
The same study says Australians, Britons and Americans also expect there to be a big shift towards Chinese global influence in the next 10 years.
Catherine Douglas, managing director of C|T Groups research and campaign strategy business in Australia, said the research showed “that after climate change, the rising global influence of China is the second-most important issue for Australians”.
