Position Overview: We are looking for a Consultant to join our Sydney office as part of our Intelligence team.

The role:
CT Group’s Intelligence practice undertakes a variety of global investigations including geopolitical intelligence, due diligence, asset tracing, digital investigation, and dispute support.
This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level candidate or someone with one to two years’ experience to develop their skills across a broad range of projects, working closely with experienced project leads.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team and managers with the day to day running and operation of Intelligence projects.
Key responsibilities
- Working with project leads across a variety of different projects
- Researching and analysing information for projects
- Drafting reports for review by project leads
- Drafting and creating, maps, documents, presentations both for internal and external clients
- Supporting with proposals, presentations, and client pitches for new and existing clients
- Understanding the scope of work required for projects, contacting suppliers, conducting feasibility assessments with support from managers
- Identifying where opportunities and risks may exist on projects and raising as appropriate to the relevant project lead to assess
- Developing an understanding of the CT Way Methodology and applying with assistance from project leads
- Ensuring timely responses are provided to clients and understanding and managing client expectations
Key attributes:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to work
- Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Working knowledge of research, analysis, and report writing
- Proficiency with IT, both hardware and software, including Microsoft Office suite, particularly with PowerPoint and creating presentations
- Strong organisation and methodical working practices
- Adaptability and ability to prioritise and work under-pressure; and
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
One or more of the following skills would also be highly desirable:
- Investigation skills, in particular social media, and online investigation skills.
- Technical skills associated with online investigations, including experience in ethical hacking and the use of Linux (especially Kali Linux) distributions, familiarity with coding languages (Python, HTML), and an understanding of domain and website analytics.
- Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and techniques (using i2, and other platforms).
- A network of business, security/investigations/intelligence, or political contacts.
- Consulting and/or client engagement experience.
- Language skills.
