Mark Gorter appointed as CT Group’s Global Head of Campaigns and leader of the CT Academy

CT Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Gorter as Global Practice Head for Campaigns. Mr Gorter will have oversight of all campaigns and lead the expansion of the CT Academy.
Mr Gorter brings more than 15 years of experience in government, politics, and business. A seasoned campaigner, he has led complex campaigns across various jurisdictions and has been key to shaping CT Group’s campaign services since joining the firm in 2017. His background in policy strategy, advocacy, and communications ensures clients benefit from clear direction, sharp insights, and measurable results.

Mark will continue to be based in Sydney, Australia, while working closely with teams across CT Group’s eight global offices to drive our leading edge to campaigning. He will also collaborate with leaders in CT Group’s research, intelligence and advisory practices to support clients facing multinational or complex strategic challenges.
His appointment reflects CT Group’s commitment to strengthening its global leadership and supporting clients as they confront an evolving landscape. Sam Lyon, who previously held this role, will transition into a senior mentoring position, contributing to the development of CT Group’s growing leadership team.
