CT Group’s Apertus Alliance expands international advisory network to include senior Spanish intelligence official

Launched by CT Group in March 2023, the Apertus Alliance welcomes its newest member, Lieutenant General Pablo Martín Alonso who will join the Alliance from 1 December 2023.
Lieutenant General Pablo Martín Alonso served as the Head of Intelligence of the Spanish Civil Guard between 2004 and 2011. In 2012, he was appointed as Head of Operations, and in 2016 he was appointed as Deputy Head of the Civil Guard. His tenure at the Civil Guard was marked by Spain’s long struggle against the terrorist group ETA, and the group’s announcement of a ceasefire in 2011.

The Apertus Alliance is chaired by Eugene Curley CMG OBE, founder of CT Group’s Intelligence Practice and former senior UK foreign service and Bank of England official.
